April 2010 marks the special anniversary of our first event at Vroman’s Bookstore in Pasadena, California, honoring Heidi Floyd, Development Ambassador for Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer. It was very meaningful to share insight from Heidi and news of this impressive foundation from Indiana, which has raised millions of dollars for breast cancer research. It speaks to the special solidarity of women, reaching out to each other in time of need , to make miracles happen.
